Dare we extrapolate?

Yeah, I know it's summer and everyone is hot. We are testing out the limits of the national power grid with air conditioners, dehumidifiers, and various other implements of coolness.

But have a look at this chart from our last week from a weather station near my work:


Do you see the apparent linear relationship in temperature increases with time? On average, we are getting five degrees hotter every day. At this rate, we've got only three weeks until we all boil. Get your houses in order, folks!
