Even though we're three weeks late....
The Tennessee Highlights
have arrived on the blog!

This was taken just prior to my *conversation* with airport police...

...and here is Ian thoroughly enjoying the moving sidewalk
during our layover in Baltimore... We have a video of this.
At some point I'll put it up...it's AWESOME.

Annnnnnnnnnnnnd, guess who loved his first plane ride!!!

We overlapped with Aunt Debra, Uncle Don, and cousin Ryan for...like...an hour.
{insert frowny face for the abbreviated visit!}
You'll notice I'm not in this picture. That would be because I was upstairs.
With the flu.
A flu that would touch nearly each and every member of the family throughout our vacation. But what would a family vacation be without sharing everything right down to the germs!

Special thanks to Joe's sister, Shara, for passing along her photos as well.

Joe/Blake with Shara/Nathan

Ian seriously loves his Uncle Ben!

Temps in Tennessee were in the 50's (even low 60's!)
We had some fun outside time
(This are my boys with my nephew, Jackson)

Love him.

Them, too.

One of the highlights of the trip was watching Ian and Jackson play.
Love cousin play time!

Lots of awesome family dinners...

Lazy Sunday afternoon....
(that's me in the background loving my newest nephew, Nathan)

How fun is this picture?

...and speaking of fun pictures...

The little cousins...

Joe with the Jackson grandboys...
...not a grandgirl in the bunch!

Blake loves cousin Ryan!!

Sneaking a hug on Grandmama's couch

{literally} enjoying nature.

Like I said, everyone loves Uncle Ben!

....and also Uncle Spencer!

There is so much about this picture that I love...
...but mostly the redheaded boy below the plate.

Someday I'll post the picture of Joseph in this very outfit.

Glad you got your CD :)

OH what a fun time was had. Even though we did pass the flu around, it was the best EVER. I loved the extra energy all of our boys brought to the family time...oh why don't we all just live closer???

  3. I think we need to make a trip to Boston just so I can squeeze Blake's cheeks. Man, he's got some good ones.
