Ahhhh.....

It's fall in New England.

Finally.

You know, there's a reason some of us move to New England.
And that reason is not for the hot summers.
Personally, I'd trade the summer for winter any day.

You can quote me on that.
Really.

Anyway.
Back at the ranch...

Let's start out with some uber-cuteness,
courtesy of the Blakester
and my first-born-in-the-wilderness:

We went on our annual go-get-bushels-and-bushels-of-apple-seconds day...
We came home with two bushels of macs and a bushel of galas.
...And I remembered why we usually only stick with the macs.
They process soooo well!

Apple day also fell on free museum day...
...So we headed over to Acton to their Children's Museum.
It was wonderful.

Here's the haul...
...and below that is my first-born reaping the benefits.

  1. Your boys (both of them!) are getting SO SO big!

I owe you a desk. I was thinking of it this morning. Maybe between conference sessions??

  2. AWESOME. Blake is so wonderfully squishy. I want to pinch his cheeks. :)

  3. I'm with Liz--those cheeks are FANTASTIC. I can't wait to hang out with all the boys together...but I also don't want to rush through fall. I guess I'll wait.
    :)

Looks like Fall in New England is gorgeous (as always!) and bringing back memories of last October's visit with all of the apple goodness & fall colors...ahhhhhh

  4. You and Joe are going to have enormous muscles from carrying that beef cake around. So much fluffy goodness.

  6. "firstborn in the wilderness" HA HA HA! That cracked me up.

I was just looking at facebook then headed on over here... Ian looks like he's suddenly burst out of little boy phase and into big boy phase- what a handsome little man!
