Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh.
What?
You didn't know that I gave birth to a pirate?
Well,
not really.
The real story is this: Blake's right eye is a bit weaker than his left, and he's exhibiting a wee bit of vertical nystagmus. His ophthalmologist thinks (and is hoping) that it's something he'll outgrow with time and eye exercises--including wearing an eye patch for 30 minutes per day. This 30 minutes is rather important, she said--he's depending too much on his left eye when both are uncovered. But dontcha just think those little eye patches are cute? The box came with airplane eye patches, soccer ball eye patches and even (get this) camoflauge eye patches.
He seems to like 'em....
What a guy.!!! Love it..... GG
ReplyDeleteHe's HUGE!! I think he's grown at least a pound since Sunday.
ReplyDeleteHuge and darn cute. Well done, Jacksons!
what a doll! i love your squeezable pirate!
ReplyDeletehey! is he a pirate that doesn't do anything???
I mean he does alot. He sleeps, eats, and mostly charms all passersby...but does he sing or hum the SONG about pirates who don't do anything...??
ReplyDeleteThose are cute little patches! Does he try to take them off or grab at them?
ReplyDeleteOh, the patch is so cute! I mean its sad he has to deal with it, but he really looks cute with it. How fun that they decorate them. Does he leave it alone?
ReplyDeleteDUDE. Look at those legs! You have a running back in the making, man. Start contacting NFL scouts today.
ReplyDeleteI think he looks precious. And only 30 minutes a day...wow.
ReplyDelete30 minutes isn't too bad. I love that they decorate eye patches for babies who don't even realize they're wearing an eye patch :-). I bet Ian loves the different patches, though. Blake is adorable!
