December: A month of firsts!

So we moved in the week before Thanksgiving and in short order had a few things to take care of to get ready for our First Christmas.  For example, our first Chimney Sweep!  (He did not, however, sing me a tune or dance.)

Our first playdate and sleepover.

Our first snowstorm!
(8 inches, wasn't it?  Back-breaking with an inch of ice on top.
Almost convinced me to get a snow-blower right then and there.)

First Daddy Imposter.

First fire in the fireplace!

First indoor s'mores in the new house!

First smorgasbord!

First wonderful note to Santa Claus.

First stocking with a "G" on it!!!

First "family letters" tradition.  (Thank you Ian.  The objective is, during the two weeks before Christmas, anyone can write letters to any other family member, and on Christmas Eve, Ian will deliver your family letters to a custom-made box for you to read and enjoy!)

First gifts-under-the-tree.

First Eager Anticipation at the Top-O-The-Stairs on Christmas morning.

First "Why are the cookies in the living room?" look...

...and subsequently, First cookie for Graham!  (ever.  Nice way to be introduced, eh?)

First debut of an owange out of a stocking!

First comic book!

First integrated hat and paws.  (Thanks Great-Grammy Mitchell!)

First.  Well, not first, but definitely awesome Post-Bath-Towel-Hair!

First use of GG's Honey'n'Rice for a fine dinner!
Also, First meal in the new house with our pig, Petunia!

First need for a "Kid's Table."

First s'mores with friends!

December has treated us very well!  What a lovely way to enjoy the Christmas Season.
