I love me some farm animals.

I really, truly do.

So you can imagine how excited I was that today was Farm Animal Day in our preschool.
(Well, technically, our syllabus says "Farm II: Animals."
Not to be confused with October 12, which was "Farm I: Plants." )

No really. We wrote it like that. Makes us feel officialish, I think.

We made farm-scapes (complete with glued-on real grass from the yard), painted animals (to later cut out and glue on said farm-scapes), counted animals, drew farm animals until there were five of each, sang 'Old MacDonald,' practiced writing our numbers, traced numbers, counted silos....it was a fantastic day.

See for yourself!

  3. I love learning about farms at preschool. And I like when you plan cool crafts. I'm glad you're crafty because I'm not. And I'm glad we have photogenic children.
