I've been wanting to do family silhouettes for a long time, and finally decided to tackle the project after the kids went to bed. Don't you love how Blake bears a striking resemblance to Winston Churchill?

Also, the Easter Bunny has arrived--this year bringing MUCH less candy. (Like, 99% less). I'm glad we get to benefit from the E.B.'s new waist-watching program. =) I'm not sure Ian has really experienced the Easter Bunny before, but we're always up for an excuse for little presies, right?

Our EB brought only presents to the kids this year too. It was a last minute decision after the church party where WAY too much candy was found. He did bring Eric candy, though. I like that your EB brought you presents too. I might have to ask him for some next year.
ReplyDeleteYeah I used to think the toy baskets at the grocery store were just an example of over-commercialized Easter. My thoughts changed after having kids though. Our baskets did include candy this year--but they also included fruit leathers, Easter pencils, and some oil pastels Owen has been begging for.
ReplyDeleteI also thought it was great that your Bunny brought baskets for both YOU & Joe. Awesome. He just thinks of EVERYONE.
ReplyDeleteI also loved Ian's explanation to me last night about how Mom has the vinyl cutter, & everyone's names were on the baskets...so cute.
We bypassed the Bunny this year (because we can. what he doesn't know can't hurt him, right?) but I'm sure by next year we'll be whipping out some basket fun--I love your personalized buckets and your silhouettes are FANTASTIC!
I LOVE your silhouettes! You will have to teach me how to do that one because that is one of my lifetime goals for this family!
