A Milestone has been passed.
It is a rite of passage for my children.
Ian did it at 4 months...
...and Blake did it at 8 months.
We're talking about pooping on the potty, folks!!

Today we did:
1. Pattern Blocks
2. Baking
(The kids made their own individual chocolate chip pumpkin muffins.)
3. Blake in all of his cuteness
4. Greater-than and Less-than
love these!

And I'm here just eating all those pumpkin muffins. Like the good mother I am.
ReplyDeleteTELL ME HOW YOU DID IT!!! Evelyn will hold it while on the potty - for hours if necessary, and will only go once the diaper is back on OR she'll jump off the potty and have an accident on the floor. I need some of your magic.
ReplyDeleteLet the record show Blake has gone #1 and #2 for three days straight on the toilet. The secret?
ReplyDeleteFirst you have to know the cues. Ian was an easy read, so that helped get him started early. Blake is a bit tougher to read, but I can tell when he holds his breath that something is up.
Second, you have to know the baby's body clock. Blake empties his bowels first thing in the morning, so I may as well put him on the perch when we first get up in the morning. No reason to wait for him to mess the first diaper of the day, right!?
